Your primary care physician (PCP) is your partner for health and your partner through the health care system. He or she will educate, advise and guide you with all of your health care needs.

Your PCP can be a doctor of Internal Medicine or a nurse practitioner who focuses on primary care. Having a PCP is important because he or she can determine when you need to see a specialist, help you find the right specialist, and coordinate all of your care.

Our providers treat the whole patient, not just a patient’s symptoms. We consult with patients to decide the type of care that suits each one best.  We understand that physical and mental health are equally important when providing whole person health care. We refer to, and coordinate care with, medical and behavioral health specialists. The goal is to improve our patients’ overall health, and happiness with their physical and mental health care.  (Some health care insurers require a referral from your PCP before you can see a specialist.)
